HVD系列程控數顯維氏硬度計有六種型號:分別為10kg手動及自動轉塔維氏硬度計、30kg手動及自動轉塔維氏硬度計、50kg手動及自動轉塔維氏硬度計，是采用計算機軟件控制，高倍率光學測量系統，光電傳感等技術實現D型測量裝置與壓頭自動切換，通過軟件輸入，光源的強弱自動調節，并選擇維氏與努氏試驗方法、保持時間，文件號與儲存等，提供了各種硬度值的轉換表以供參考，在LCD大屏幕顯示屏上能顯示試驗方法，試驗力，測量壓痕長度、硬度值、試驗力保持時間，測量次數并能鍵入年、月、日期，試驗結果和數據處理等，通過打印機輸出。
該硬度計應用范圍廣，即適用于測量微小、薄形及表面滲鍍層處理后的零件，也適用于一般機械零件測試，顯微維氏硬度試驗更能進行材料金相組織及脆性材料的硬度測量。是工廠及質檢部門進行研究測試的理想的硬度測試儀器。
